The Frymaster SR114E is a tube type fryer, which means the heating elements are fully submersed in the oil. This can be harder to clean than some open pot models, but the benefits lie in a faster heat-up time and the ability to perform heavy-duty frying jobs due to a wide cold zone that catches debris from flakier foods.
