Commercial ice cream machines come in a few different varieties. By far the most popular is the commercial soft ice cream machine. These are the top dogs in the ice cream machine business and can be found anywhere from frozen yogurt stores, to ice cream parlors, to sports stadiums. We've got a few different of the best brands avaiable in our soft serve machines, and we've got countertop soft serve machine and floor model soft serve machines available.
We've sold these machines to small little summer-only shops and we've sold them to year-round frozen yogurt stores. So really we've got a big variety of capacities and types, so we're sure you'll find one to suit you.
Next up for commercial ice cream machines is the batch freezer. Now, these might not be as well known as soft serve machines, but they can be just as useful. Anything you'd put inside of an ice cream cabinet or a gelato display case could be made with one of these things: ice cream, gelato, sorbet, custard -- pretty much anything. These machines can be great for an ice cream stores that wants a machine to make their own ice cream. This can be a lot fancier than just buying pre-packaged ice cream (not that there's anything wrong with that!).
Next up are the shake freezers, if you want a steady supply of milkshakes. These are often found in diners and in fast food chains, but you could use them in a hospital cafeteria or a sport stadium. These can give you a consistent and steady output of milkshakes, not a problem!
If you're feeling up for it, you could mix your ice cream yourself using a milkshake machine. These are a bit more labour intensive, but can really add a '50s flair, and may give a slightly different consistency than a shake freezer. Plus, with a hand-spun milkshake machine, you're able to blend almost anything. Because you're not putting the ingredients inside of the shake freezer, you don't have to worry about an ingredient causing an issue in the mixing.
If you're not sure which ice cream machine is best for your business, then just drop us a line, and we'd love to help you out!
