Commercial Juicers

We admit: deciding which commercial juicer you want to buy can be a little bit tricky, because the designs and styles can vary so widely from brand to brand. One brand might categorize their juicers based on how much horsepower they have, and other brands might categorize them based on their RPM, or maybe their output capacity. There isn't a lot of overlap between brands with commercial juicers (sometimes called juice extractors), so it can make choosing one a little tough.

The first thing to decide, which should be easy enough, is whether you want a "citrus juicer" or a regular "juicer". A citrus juicer is just for citrus fruit, like oranges, lemons, and grapefruits, whereas a juicer can do fruits, vegetables, and some herbs as well. There are also "Orange Juice Machines" but those are fairly niche, so you'll probably know if you want one of those.

The second thing to consider is the quality of the juicer you're buying. Will you want to be using your juicer every day, all day, for the next ten years? Well, then you might want to spend a bit more money on a juicer that has stainless steel construction, a powerful motor, and a quality design. Or if you're just dabbling in juicing, then maybe you can go with a less-expensive model.

Here's a good rule of thumb with buying commercial juicers: generally speaking, the more expensive they are, the more you can use them. Unlike with certain clothing brands, you're not just paying the extra money for the brand-name: you'll actually be investing your money in quality. A higher cost juicer will likely have a sturdier design and a more powerful motor. But make sure you read the product descriptions and read the spec sheets to decide which juicer will be best for your business.
