Commercial Vacuum Sealers

A commercial vacuum sealer or a domestic vacuum sealer is a great way to extend the life of your meat, vegetables, or any food that you want to vacuum wrap. It's also a great way of cutting back on waste. By putting your food into a vacuum sealed package, from which all the residual air has been sucked, you can end up extending the shelf-life of your food three to five times what's considered normal. So, a vacuum sealer is a really great investment - what you pay for the machine will eventually be gained back by your food not spoiling (trust us, we ship a lot of these machines across Canada!).

On top of being able to sell your food in vacuum packaging, you can also do a process called sous vide, which is cooking your food once it has been vacuum sealed. It is a very efficient and easy way of cooking your food. If you're interested, please feel free to check out our sous vide cookers as well.

Pretty-well any food you want can be vacuum sealed. Most often, grocery stores or convenience stores will vacuum seal their meats, vegetables, and cheeses. We also have a few domestic vacuum sealers, which are hardy machines in their own right, and much cheaper than their commercial counterparts. However, we wouldn’t recommend these for many commercial outlets. If you plan on using your vacuum sealer consistently, a commercial sealer would be the safer bet: they are made of higher-quality and longer-lasting materials.

Picking out the best commercial vacuum sealer can be a tough job. There are a wide spectrum of differences and features between these machines: they can be countertop or floor models; they can vacuum via their chamber, externally, or both; they can have manual, automatic, or combination controls; they can have one or two seal bars; their seal bars can vary in sizes from 10 to upwards of 30 inches; they can have a gas flush; and, much more!

As a result, we've gone ahead and arranged these machines to make the selection process as straightforward as possible. If you're new to commercial vacuum sealers or domestic vacuum sealers, we would advise you ask yourself the following questions: What kind of food am I going to be sealing? How often do I plan on using this machine? Am I familiar enough to with the sealing process to manually input vacuum pressure and seal times? Or, would I rather have preset programs I can select (or a mixture of both)?; and so-on. Ultimately, knowing what you plan on using the machine for as-well-as how you plan on using the machine can take you a long way.
