The Eurodib BCB 10US is a floor model blast chiller, otherwise known as a shock freezer. It has a capacity for ten trays. It has two main cycles: a chilling cycle and a freezing cycle. The chilling cycle allows for a reduction of the internal food temperature from 70° Celsius to 3° Celsius in 90 minutes (max). The freezing cycle allows for a reduction of the internal food temperature of 70° to -18° in 240 minutes (max). The BCB 10US is a floor model blast chillder -- the exterior dimensions (WDH) are 34" x 34" x 61.5".
A floor model blast chiller is ideal for chefs, bakers, ice cream makers, etc., who need a quick way to freeze food for storage or to prevent waste. With the BCB 10US, chilling cycles can be set on a timer or with a core-probe that is inserted into the center of the product. The controls are user-friendly and the chilling cycles can be adjusted rapidly. And because of its small profile, it can easily be stacked on top of a worktable or equipment stand to save space.
