Ships via freight

Freight deliveries are different than parcel deliveries. Freight is for larger items that need to be shipped on a pallet on a freight truck.

  • Items are delivered curbside and won't be brought into your establishment
  • A tailgate fee could apply if you don't have a forklift or loading dock
  • Deliveries require signature and are from Monday-Friday 8-5
  • Deliveries can arrive without notice
  • If you require an appointment or inside delivery, that needs be requested when ordering and there may be an additional fee

Strain with precision using either coarse or fine mesh

Winco's China cap strainer has 18/8 stainless steel construction and is available in 3 diameters: 8, 10, and 12 inches. It can come with either fine or coarse mesh, depending on your preferences and needs. The handle is welded on for a firm support.

China cap strainers are cone-shaped strainers meant for straining stocks, sauces, soup, jam, and any other foods that need fine straining. Sometimes these strainers are used in conjunction with a wooden pestle to help strain out thicker foods. By using this type of strainer in your cooking, you will ensure a smooth end product with no unwanted bits.

Be sure to consider what it is you'll be straining, as that will impact your choice of mesh. Finer mesh is best for straining foods that require very small bits to be removed, whereas coarse mesh can be used for foods that don't need as much caution while straining.
