A commercial convection oven is a staple for many restaurants and commercial kitchens across Canada. They have a fan which circulates heat throughout the oven, which will ensure there are no cold spots on your food and will make your cooking more efficient — so they’re a favourite of chefs and customers alike! We’ve got both countertop and floor models and double deck units available. All our countertop models will be electric, whereas our floor model units come in both electric and gas. Keep in mind that some floor model convection ovens may still require a stand to be at a convenient height for loading food in and out. Depending on the size of your restaurant, you may need a single deck convection oven, or for a larger restaurant, you may need a double deck convection oven. Some countertop models can also be stacked.
You’ll often find convection ovens in bakeries, to cook bread or muffins. And you’ll find these in many cafeterias as all-purpose ovens. Convection ovens come in 1/4, 1/2, and full sizes -- these refer to the size of pans that they can hold.
