A canvas piping bag with a plastic interior that takes less effort to squeeze
Winco's plastic-coated icing bags are available in sizes from 12 inches to 24 inches, making them versatile tools for many commercial kitchens. Their sturdy canvas exterior provides grip so your hands don't slip while piping, which means less exertion is needed to use these versus other bags. At the same time, the interior is coated in a plastic that keeps icing smooth and makes for better, more professional results.
When choosing the right pastry bags for your business, it's important to consider which tips and couplings, if any, you plan to use with them. These products are almost always needed in bakeries for decorating cakes for example, but they also have a range of uses in restaurants, especially if you do a lot of finishing.
With 12”, 14”, 16”, 18”, 21", 24" bags available, how do you know which size is right for you? There are a few factors. Larger sizes can get heavy if they’re filled with something like buttercream, but they don’t need to be refilled as often, so they’re great for piping potatoes or light products like meringue. Mid-sizes are perfect for trim on cakes, and the small ones are best for heavy buttercream and for doing detail work like writing and finishing. They can also be used for napoleons.
